I have checked everything before I booked. I had an appointment today 30/08/22, the optician dont have any idea what they are doing. They are a rip off, tried to charge me when I get free NHS eye test. They said they have checked on internet and I dont get free eye test. Thieves, avoid them at all costs. Then Ive done a free eye test at specssavers. Thats why they have no customers and staffs eating snacks whilst talking to me. Also no manners at all. And specssavers is so busy and nice customer service, and even though they are busy, they gave an appointment after an hour on their breaks. As it is very urgent. Oldham Boots opticians staffs dont even deserve to work, dont think they are fully qualified. Good job I didnt do my eye test with them.

Was late by only 3 minutes and the lady was so rude and unprofessional. She said she has more patients to be seen and that my daughter has to rebook her appointment. There were no patients waiting to be seen. I've just changes opticians to specsavers who are really friendly ad professional.

Never used Boots before a regular Asda Opticians user but as things have been difficult for everyone decided to stay local so tried Boots. Not been a good experience so far unfortunately. Got my glasses in August we are now in December and so far cant wear them. They have now been returned for the fourth time as they distort the reading which isnt good. Hopefully when they finally arrive back this time I can actually wear them. Boots have been nothing but helpful but its definitely put me off returning

I accompanied my 86 year old mum during her appointment at Boots Opticians Oldham. The optician she saw, and his colleague who carried out the scans, were so kind and patient. The optician took enough time to find out about mums eye issues, and the advice he gave was really helpful - straightforward and thorough. First class service from them, thank you.
