When I started in 2018 under the old managers, the place was great but when they left during/after covid, the place went downhill. Management is shocking!!! Rotas wouldnt be done, you would go into work on a Saturday, not knowing what shifts youre on the following week! They would change your shifts without notifying you. When on shift at night, you have no one to call, if there is an emergency requiring managers help, no one answers their phone and they even give the on call managers phone to the nurses on shift so they arent disturbed at home. If staff dont turn up for shift or has called in sick, they would not get cover, you would have to sort it out yourself when you start your shift. Just AWFUL management, never seen or heard anything like it. You get ZERO support from management, you have many great nurses in that home who are over worked and stressed and the managers do not care. Managers take no accountability for the homes downfall and want to blame staff when the issue starts from THE TOP. And dont even bother with HR, theyre as useless as the management and take a blind eye to all the problems. Also, you dont get to have your breaks as theres no time but you dont get paid for your breaks! Ridiculous!
