Couldn't fault the staff on the children's unit... polite, friendly and so helpful, my child felt safe and they were so helpful when it came to bloods being taken! Couldn't be happier with how they treated myself and my child today!

My child broke her leg when on holiday abroad. The hospital refused to see her and sent me to the a and e , so they can refer them to the children's unit, because that's their "system". She didn't need an urgent care and already had her cast on, so it was just the case of advice, x ray and taking cast off when the time is right.

I wish I never come back there!!!! Those people , doctors and students to be doctors do not take care of patients. Unfortunately they are pretending. What a poor experience for me and my baby. Oh they are so polite with their answers when you ask sth.. so bad because they dont give the service as it should be.

i went to get some food from the cafe since the dont feed the parent here and got locked out, i pressed the buzzer for around 20 mins before one of the cleaners finally came and let me in. I had left my 3 year old inside she was in tears and i was in tears from worry by the time i managed to get back to her half an hour later. There were staff members all around , i buzzed continuously like a crazy woman but not one bothered to come let me in. Other than this the bed my child was given didnt even work (as in the buttons for rising it etc), and she couldn't lay flat coz of cough and oxygen issues so i had to put multiple cushions and blankets behind her. To end it on a positive note though, the nurses that are good are exceptionally good and the cleaners are even more of warm nature thankfully. But if your assigned a 'cba' nurse then get ready to be isolated and suffer.

My son was rushed in here from his GP. Came to a rather hectic a&e. Was met with a kind receptionist. Then through to triage. These people are angels! A student nurse took his obs then took us straight down to the amazing children's unit. Each and every member of staff we met were nothing but helpful and kind. From a&e to a bed within hours. Tests done that night, fluid IVs given, iron supplements, constant observations and they just couldn't have been nicer this was a scary time for us as a family but I felt relieved to have my boy in this clean, safe environment with the best possible team around him. Our consultant Dr Roy was such a lovely man, really helpful and explained everything. Daniels nurse Suha was like a breath of fresh air, really efficient supportive and kind. Each member of staff even down to the cleaners were helpful, cheerful and just made such a worrying time that bit less stressful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such an amazing service
