I went into next in oldbury today the lack of staff is appaling there was a que for the women's wear till as the sales assistant was having to take back a lot of Internet orders from a customer one of the ladys before me in the que asked if there were anymore staff that could help on the till as we had all been waiting quite a while the assistant then said there was only her on the whole of the shop floor I then went upstairs to pay for my item as I reached the till the assistant walked off and started dealing with Internet collection I've worked in retail for over 20 years and can't remember the last time I have recieved such bad customer service when customers are left standing at tills so as staff can deal with on line orders very shocked at next

Normally very pleased with service in this store. However today, when making my purchases at counter lady informed me security alarm is broken and to ignore alarm ( She is always lovely however). After some time in the next shop a member of Next staff ( maybe store manager or security. Don't know as didn't bother to say!!!) Demanded I emptied my bag in front of everyone in new store. Lecturerd me on ignoring alarm! Once I explained. He turned left the with zero apologies. Very disappointed. If items had'nt been a gift. I would have asked for full refund!!!

Highly recommended, just dress like you don't need clothes because they'll automatically suspect you're stealing.

Very disappointed-Staff is horrible and rude - i was shopping and the rude lady shouted and said i am cleaning so stop leaving everything on one rack even though that was a pile of clothes i was going to buy and then when i was shopping she kept looking over like i was going to steal- horrible lady

I called to drop off some returns and to collect a parcel on 22nd April. I was left stood at the counter for 10 minutes before someone arrived to serve me, even though 2 nembers of staff saw me stood there, but walked away. After someone arrived, once he had finished talking downstairs, I was then told to use the self serve for collections, even though I still had returns. After processing the returns, I was told i still had to use the self serve and wait for a collection. Very poor customer service, lack of staff checking if customers were being seen too, and just a general, couldn't care less attitude.
