Old Friary Post Office

Twice they sent my daughter back without taking her parcel. Once they "were shut" but within their displayed opening time and then a second time due to "lunch break" also outside of their displayed opening times. The post office is supposed to be a service, I don't think they got the message.

I visited this branch to cash in some discontinued notes this morning. Firstly I was left waiting over 10 minutes at the counter, after which the cashier strolled up to the counter and made no acknowledgement to his lateness. When I asked to cash in my notes he told me that it's too late and I can't do it - I know this was untrue as I checked on the bank of England website prior to my visit. I also cashed in some notes in another branch a few days prior so was well aware that the cashier was lying. I told him that I had cashed the notes in another branch and that it is still allowed however he refused to do it and sent me away. Appalling customer service! The staff are clearly lazy and clueless as well as extremely rude! I won't ever be visiting this branch again.
