I've not worked here for a fair few years, I left in 2019. My mental health wasn't so great due to the constant false accusations made against me by other staff members. I put my all into caring and loving every single resident I looked after as my own relative, it's a home from home I'd like them to think we where just extended family. Some of those in the comments praising the shame you saw what you where ment to mainly all the good stuff. I felt my time there need to come to an end because my MENTAL HEALTH matters as well. I got pulled into a meeting because I asked some if they found a job with less hours and better pay to let me know. My children some how ended up being brought into the conversation, which is where I drew the line. I went home that night and emailed my notice I had booked two weeks annual leave so didn't have to spend much of my notice there , I was put on tablets and even the Dr suggested I hand in my notice. I swear it was the best thing I ever did I was off the medication within a month of leaving that place. Even though I miss some residents dearly and often wonder how they are it was the best decision at the time for myself. I've heard it's under new management know let's hope they do a better job. They also have some careers who are amazing in all areas as cleaners, activity staff and some chefs help out and sit and spend time with residents and are worth more than there weight in gold. The home would be lost without them.

This place doesn't even deserve a one star. I totally agree with Megan Golding. Sorry to hear what she went through there. Hopefully she's left. Basically I applied for a position here online on their website and got a call from someone I'm assuming is the manager. She was absolutely rude, mean spirited and very cold hearted. I've had a lucky escape. She asked me where I lived, and when I told her, she asked me why can't I apply for a job local to where I lived. She interrupted me and didn't even let me speak, insisting that it's no good me applying there. She had not given me a chance to even see if I was suitable for the role. She had already made her mind up not to even invite me for an interview and all this based on the fact that I lived far. I had googled the address and it was only a 30 minutes drive. That woman whoever she was, needs to get off her high horse and realise that being well mannered, friendly, polite and professional goes a long way to retaining staff and the overall well running of the home. Shame on her, I wouldn't even want to work in such a place anyway with her attitude. Poor Megan on the reviews, I hope she's found a better job. Rubbish care home with no professionalism by the people who run it
