The place looks magnificent from the outside. Inside, it is a bit cold, so bring your jacket. Wonderful walks all around, if you have time. I had pre-ordered the vegan option, and it was great to find both soya and oat milk next to the tea. However, at lunch, everyone had the same basic garnish, and on top a) the omnis got beef fillet, b) the veggies got a nice-looking tart, and c) the vegans got... the top of a cauliflower..! It is 2023, so "zero" for effort; no excuses there. At the end, the dessert cakes were left unlabelled on a random table, without any staff members around to ask for allergens/ingredients, so quite disappointing as well. It could have been a lot better with only a small amount of effort from their end.

Hands down the closest feel I would ever have with royal family. The house that is used by ranger of the windsor park aka the kings.

I am just giving this place 1 for the desserts and the country side sceneries it offers. 1. The staff are rude. There were some candies at the reception, just normal candies that you can find at every hotel reception. I asked the staff whether I can take one, he replied: absolutely. Then in the morning the receptionist was changed, I opened the container to take another and he suddenly took it away from my hands in a very rude manner, saying that these are not meant to be eaten by the students. First, if you dont want your precious candies to be eaten why do you put it on the display? Second, Im wondering how much is a price of A candy? 1p? 5p? 10pence? I am sure its cheap enough that you dont need to take it away from someone in such a disgraceful and embarrassing way. You couldve at least put it away later after I was gone. 2. The quality of the food is unacceptable. Obviously, I understand that they need to keep their costs down in this period of high inflation and costs of living crisis but if you are those kind of persons who thinks your colleges canteen is of a low quality then you have to try this places food to get to know what low quality food means. Im not going to explain the disastrous dinners and awful launches. The only good thing about the food is the dessert, which is indeed extremely better than the rest and its usually designed beautifully. 3. The quality of maintenance of the building is at minimum, it can be better. At current level it is just ok.
