Stratford-upon-Avon Lodge Retreat

Stayed in lodge 14 on opening door a certain smell couldn't decide what it was on the surface was clean but I bleach the sinks bathrooms and did antiseptic clean. The sofa needs cushions wasn't comfy but did what others have got pillows bedrooms were lovely nice dressing area only problem with lodge 14 next to the large party lodge so when in their hot tub very loud but luckily didn't go on late .

Lodges are lovely and location is ideal. A lovely 2 mile walk into the closest village, the Snitterfield Arms is a lovely stop for lunch. Over the road, Disc Golf is a little something different and fun in groups, just be sure to take good shoes as it gets plenty muddy. The only recommendation I would make is more clarity on the parking FAQs. When asked "can I park next to my lodge" the answer shows "yes, there is adequate parking next to all our lodges." The parking is not actually next to all of the lodges themselves, but is all within short walking distance, I would recommend referring to the site map for clarification. And altho 8-berth lodges offer 2 spaces, all 4 and 6 berth only come with 1 assigned space, which as a group of 6 visiting meant we were guaranteed to be in 2 cars. Additional parking is at the site entrance roughly 400 yards from the first lodges. I would recommend familiarising yourself with the site layout before arrival as signage for individual lodges isn't made 100% clear from the parking areas. Didn't tarnish our holiday would just be worth noting for reference for anyone booking.

I can't speak highly enough, this was a lovely week, Stratford-upon-Avon is beautiful the lodge was exceptional. Thanks so much what a lovely time we all had so peaceful , we hope to come back someday .
