        dropped by on our way back from the coast, lovely meal, nice place, friendly service and excellent value

        A spacious pub, not far from the main roads, so don't let this put you off. Unfortunately on the day we visited there were unforseen kitchen breakdowns which made the service slow, but all the staff coped well and this will not put us off returning. Good menu choices for all ages and tastes

        Came with friends for a meal, quite quiet for a Saturday lunchtime. Still a 45 minute wait. Once arrived everything was cold and overcooked. Waiting staff seemed to avoid our table and we were so hungry we ate it. Won't be rushing back.
