Chris is a miracle worker! Went in with a busted Achilles and was back playing hockey within a couple of weeks. No niggles at all after 6!

Chris turned a seemingly permanently injured right knee into a functioning one again, and I'm incredibly grateful. Without his knowledge and recommended exercises I'd still be hopping around feeling sorry for myself! All very COVID safe and good value.

I'm really glad I went to manor drive physio. Chris was very thorough with the diagnosis and gave me great exercises to move on from my injurie. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area and very precise with covid protocals .

I am a lady in her mid-fifties who has Cerebral Palsy. This affects all four limbs, and I can only walk short distances unaided. Getting older I am experiencing more pain in various parts of my body which had begun to affect my daily living. In 2018 Chris was quick to identify the problems and through manipulation and gentle exercise my pain has reduced significantly, and painkillers are no longer on my weekly shopping list. The tips that Chris gave me in terms of trying to move in different ways has been instrumental in managing my pain. Sometimes its the simple tips that I have made such a difference to my everyday life. Frequent falls have an impact on my pain areas. To reduce the risk of falling Chris devised a six-month programme with fortnightly sessions focusing on exercises that would strengthen my weaker leg and improve my balance. Through these sessions and a great deal of hard work and commitment on my part in between sessions, my balance has improved which have meant significantly reduced falls. I have had many positive outcomes from this programme but my favourite one has to be that I now have the strength and confidence to take myself on shopping trips using the walker rather than relying on somebody to get my scooter in and out of the car. Increasing my independence. Chriss positive attitude towards my disability, encouragement, and support has spurred me on to improve my mobility and to try things I havent done for years. I would recommend Chriss service to anybody in a similar position to myself. It is now 2022 and I am a few years older but continue to be a patient at Manor Drive Physiotherapy Clinic. My sessions include mobilisation on the areas that can get tight due to the cerebral palsy and can be painful. Through manipulation Chris is able to minimise the tightness which enables to continue with the activities I enjoy such as walking and cycling. My favourite part of the session is using Chriss gym that he built during lockdown which was a welcome addition to the services he offers. For me using the gym equipment has meant that we could expand the exercises we had already done to increase the strength in my legs and arms further. This has enabled me to increase the distance I can walk so that I could attempt the 5-mile Marsden Walk last year and I have signed up for it again this year as I wanted to do the official route which was not available last year due to Covid. I never thought of doing this before I started physio. I still get a thrill out of simple things like going for a walk at lunchtime at work and using public transport which has opened my world up significantly For me, it is not just about today or even tomorrow but to keep my level of mobility and independence that I enjoy as I grow older. I believe with the support and encouragement from Chris as well as hard work and commitment on my part between sessions I can achieve this.
