AMAZING! the smugglers is a great pub. such a cosy and warm atmosphere and the food is delicious! I had the no meat balls and they were so tasty! Great service even when busy. Highly recommend Walkability: Very close to caravan sites nearby, very convenient to walk to!

Rooms: Very comfortable, great night's sleep. Only stopped for one night. The bathroom was bright and large, had a good sized wardrobe. The room could do with a small table to rest tea / coffee cups when you are sipping the tea / coffee whilst watching TV from the Settee. Nearby activities: The hotel is on the waterfront. It is near to a lot of other villages like Porlock etc. Safety: We felt very comfortable. Walkability: There were a lot of ramblers around the area so we gather it would be good for walking. Noteworthy details: The Proprietor is very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The family is doing its best to keep the place going. They are very trusting individuals. We just made a reservation. They really should have a cancellation policy if guests do not turn up, having made a reservation. We would definitely return to this place. The place needs to be cleared of the clutter around the property. The wooden stairs to the room need to painted and made more appealing. Vegetarian options: The breakfast was a range of dishes and they would adjust the items to your request.very accomodating.
