Making the final decisions for our new kitchen. Able to see and feel the components and tweek plans. Darren led us calmly through the process.

Terrible mistakes made on my kitchen. Planner came out and measured incorrectly. Kitchen arrived 600mm too short on one side. Instead of coming back to look and see where hed gone wrong he just sent me a 600 unit but it should have been 500 because now theres no room for the oven side panels. He came out to look eventually and said he couldnt take off the granite to change the 600 for a 500. However he could change the adjacent 800 for a 700. I wasnt happy but I agreed the compromise as my autistic adult son is not coping with the problems. Howdens planner arrived after work with the carcass minus doors which will follow. Oh dear he didnt measure the unit when he came earlier its not an 800!unit its a 900 so 700 is too short by 100mm. Youre closed now until Monday so the builder will be billing me for an extra day. Hope youre not expecting all of your money because you will be paying my builder and compensating me for all the stress.
