We planned this visit as a quick hour or so time filler but spent the best part of the day we are a middle aged couple but found the Donkey sanctury a delight to visit although they go to great pains in explaining it's not a child's play area your little ones once bored with the incredibly friendly animals will have plenty to keep them occupied especially when the weather is changeable. The Animals are all adorable and they are approachable and strokable with a few of them roaming free they are what they say they are a Donkey sanctury but there is so much more take the time to read all their lituriture as it shows what they are about purchase the animal feed and eat in their cafe although they are perfectly happy if you bring a picnic and eat out-side they need the business to help keep the place going so enjoy their facilities the animals are lovely and can be enjoyed by adults and children alike very recommended.
