Changed the locks on us 3 days before Xmas. And that was after refusing to speak to us for about a month. What an awful human being. I would not recommend this landlord as we feel he is a wolf in sheep clothing. We feel he is bias to the other tenants of the Fountains mall. Do you research before renting in this mall as you need to know what to expect from the coffee shop and gift store owners. From our experience, they will make your life hell. We have lost our business, livelyhood, and all our life savings of 85k due to renting this building. The landlord knew that we were opening a role play centre for kids, and having small kids himself, the landlord should have known better, and not just have chase the money. He should know what to expect from kids this age, as he has 2 of his own We had to close for business numerous of times to test the floors with 2 council people, the landlord and ourself, so 5 people which means there is about 2-3 people on the fooor whilst the rest is listening downstairs for noise. And with 2-3 people the floors makes so much noise with just walking that its called a nuisance. And this is tested even without any kids present. This is a big office and would probably be rented to a big company, so you would think that you should be able to walk as standard without being reported to the council for noise. Be warned!!
