We called at the Horseshoe Inn for a Sunday lunch last week. A very pleasant establishment with plenty of car parking. A good range of beers and wines and a good selection of food. Swift service from very polite efficient and friendly staff. The food was tasty and hot. Only criticism would be that the mixed veg was soggy. Good value meals.

Here once more at The Horseshoe Inn and yet again thoroughly enjoyed it, I can't praise the place enough I've never been disappointed in all the times I've visited. Well only when they got rid of the ponies from the field, but that's another story lol.... The service is good and staff are lovely, the food is beautiful - the cook works magic in that kitchen, credit to them it looks and tastes great. The Venison with Stilton cheese sauce, is awesome and your Apple crumble with ice cream gorgeous, thankyou.... A really nice establishment where you feel relaxed, the prices are worth every penny and I would recommend, even say it's the best place to dine for many a mile. Keep up the good work guys

We recently went for Sunday Lunch. The pub was busy, service was quick. The main meal was underwhelming, quite bland and not very warm. We were asked if we wanted any sauces and asked for horseradish as we had beef. We were surprised that the waitress came back with a small dish covered by cling film, she actually spooned the sauce onto the plates and then took it away, we found this very odd, it just felt like we were rationed. We were also very disappointed that one of the party was served lunch on a plate with a large chip out of, this was mentioned to the waitress but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. On the plus side the deserts were delicious and very good portions.
