The website says This is your scrap car price but the guys turn up, start looking round car, argue with you about dents and marks, take pictures. And then offer you 60-80. They were foreign and made me feel very uncomfortable, I will never use again and id recommend you avoid these people. Why tell me on the website you will pay 150 for my SCRAP car and then turn up and tell me that that is the SALVAGE price and you actually want to pay alot less. A very bad game plan.

Tried arranging a pick up over a 2 week period with the aylesbury branch (could be the wrong branch I was dealing with) to pick up my car, first collection there was no contact from the pickup team, I had to call but the 2 times after they had contacted me but couldn't pickup the car due to "unforeseen circumstances". Not sure if there was any problems but I'm not happy with how things have turned out as I now have to pay out to get the car scrapped instead of getting it picked up as requested.

Updated. Car is removed and payment made. But no contact from CarTakeBack and no follow up messages. End result ok but took 4 attempts and poor customer service. I got a good quote for scrapping car with collection. To date there have been 3 afternoon set for my car to be collected, all with no shows from companey. Only once was I called to state they would not arrive, at 16:45. I have had three days wasted. I have an open complaint where I was informed I would be contacted ASAP to arrange a firm date, that was several days ago with no respond a since. I have sent chasing emails with no reply. Leaving this review as I know that will get attention. Poor customer service and unreliable company.
