Took a phone to this shop, a few weeks ago, to be unlocked. Was told it would be 20-25. Very quickly told it was 25 upon paying. Told that I would receive a code in 2 working days. So far so good. By the following Tuesday I hadn't received the code so called in to the shop but it was closed. Tried Wednesday, same guy told me it would be today or Thursday. In the interim, my girlfriend had called the phone supplier and was informed it could be unlocked for free. On the Friday, i still had not recieved a code so I went to the shop for a refund. Again it was the same guy and upon asking for a refund, I was refused. When I told him I could do it for free, he acted with great surprise. Strange when this man deals with phones most days. I was also told that I wouldn't be able to get another code as he had applied for it. After a lot of insisting he eventually slapped my 25 on the counter. The supplier sent me a code a few days later and it worked fine. I have never written a negative review but I felt aggrieved by the way I was spoken to and dealt with. I am an honest person and expect the same from others, especially a local business.
