Called in at 4.30 just as they were about to lock up. Nice young bloke served me. Hand cut a fillet and a rib eye and bought some cheese. A bit expensive but turned a blind eye. Got home and opened up the steaks. Wow could have eaten them without cooking they looked that good. Absolutely amazing when did cook them. 10 for service, 10 for produce thanks guys

As a pork pie lover ! I found leesons family butchers by looking on the internet for the best pork pies available , Id used another well known shop in Melton Mowbray previously. The pies are absolutely delicious meaty , fairly coarse pork , no gristle, no fatty chunks beautiful crunchy pastry and not greasy , and a very tasty jelly within all perfectly seasoned it not too peppery. These pies have won awards for the last couple of years and understandably deserving of these awards. All the other products on offer look equally delicious cold meats , brawn , sausage of various types. And superb fresh meat. This visit we bought 3 x 2 Lbs pies plus 2 smaller ones all for Christmas . a sixty mile round trip is well worth the trouble to get pies of the outstanding quality of pies on sale at leesons family butchers of Oakham. Very well worth a visit the staff are helpful and very friendly.
