Like most fish and chips round here, fairly hit and miss and you roll the dice with these guys. On their day the food is amazing, but 70% of the time is all dry and stale

Wonderful meal. I had the spicy prawn pasta which was delicious. Efficient and friendly service. Great restaurant for Oakham.

Kid-friendliness: Drinks and snacks are available for kids. My son enjoyed his marshmallows with his hot chocolate.

Delicious! Beef and onion pie was absolutely tasty and por pie was another treasure.

Lovely restaurant with great food, best cocktails and reasonable prices. Nice inside and outside area. Staff very knowledgeable and polite.

The Merry monk is now the Everest Lounge and great meals and service. Probably the Indian/Asian food in Oakham a reasonable prices.
