This company couldnt care less about the vendors that use ProContract. ProContract is the most burdening tender portal I and my colleagues use. 1. You have to login with a random unmemorable username. 2. You get a invalid credentials message when youve entered the password correctly. This forces you to regularly change your password. 3. After entering the correct password three times you get locked out for 15 minutes. 4. From logging in you have to go through six screens before you can finally access the detail for a project. 5. You cannot read a message from the notification tab on the portal. You have to click a link to read it. 6. No users of our account, are receiving notification emails when the Buyer sends a message. Despite all users being opted in. 7. You receive daily notifications, for opportunities, which are not relevant to your workgroup. Its rare to get something that is relevant. 8. Theres a lack of transparency. If the ProContract portal has created problems for vendors, then its not in the interests of PROACTIS to confirm the error, as they could be sued for damages. 9. Ive addressed many problems with ProContracts support team but they have never done anything about them. Some of these problems may seem small but they all add up to bigger problems and Ive never known other tender portals to have any problems. Generally, PROACTIS administration of ProContract is unacceptable for both customers and vendors (see attached image). And the reluctance by PROACTIS, to invest and implement improvements to ProContract, is not the behaviour of a credible business. My advice to the PROACTIS management team would be to retire ProContract, and begin development of a new tender portal similar to your competitors.
