        we went to the anchor as we like traditional pubs it was spoiled though by being put in a back room that had no personality or atmosphere away from the the bars the food was excellant but wouldnt go back unless we had a table in the bar area instead of having coffee and a few drinks we left as soon as we had eaten our desserts couldnt wait to get out of that room

        Food is Tasteless, watery, very poor quality for prices charged. Resembles care home type food. Cold mash cabbage a shriveled carrot and chicken with rubbery skin and no sauce. Waitress superb which is why there is 1star. Used to be a great pub for food but embarrassed today to take someone there today for lunch.
