Fantastic first experience of staying at a cabin, on a working farm with fabulous fishing lakes. The cabin is spacious, well-planned and makes the most of the beautiful countryside featured from the lounge and veranda. There is the hot tub which we hope to use on our next visit, and a sauna room. We need to note that if your 14 year old is 6'4", it's best to remember they'd be a tight fit in to a bunk bed! The unexpected highlight was seeing trains pass by on unseen tracks a few fields away, but across our view. Other highlights - the view, the sounds and sight of wildlife, the walks particularly the woodland where we saw a deer... A great central location with easy, quick access to the East coast and North-East England. Highly recommended. Mike & Rita are great hosts and lovely to speak with.

Dont usually leave reviews but I just have to. It exceeded all my expectations. We stayed at curlew for my friends bridal retreat and had soo much fun. I didnt want to leave, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Rita was so lovely aswel. And there was a little bottle of milk and biscuits left for us which is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Cannot wait to return and would strongly reccomend! P.s the sauna is incredible!!
