Need to be more transparent with charges. Whilst the engineers are polite, courteous and do a good job, the overall customer service process needs to be improved. MES quote me for maintenance each year, but they are not transparent about additional costs eg batteries. This year I have been sent a bill which is 60% higher than the maintenance cost I was quoted - and therefore these are additional charges I had not budgeted for. In typical business transactions, the customer is made aware upfront what the charges are, and if MES are in a situation where the costs are not known until they visit, then the engineer should check with the customer that they agree with the additional cost before proceeding with the work. Unfortunately there have been 2 instances (2023 & 2021) where I have been surprised by the final invoice.

Excellent service from local security firm. We've dealt with MES for almost 20 years now. Throughout that time they've been thorough and professional in all aspects of their service. Our most recent alarm service was carried out by Louis, who was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable - dealt with all aspects confidently and answered all questions. Overall, great service from a great local business.
