I contacted Sam Goodwin after my MK1 MX5 failed its MOT on emissions and had a list of advisories. They were very helpful when I discussed the issues over the phone and email. I left the car with them for a few days while they completed change of engine seal, clutch slave cylinder, bushes and helped to arrange a new MOT. Great service, advice, communication and competitive price for the work. Ill contact them again as soon as I need any more work done and will recommend them to anyone. I got in contact with Steve at sam goodwin for front chassis leg repair along with brakes, new radiator, cambelt and service. I am very satisfied with the service received and work done on my mx5, The work was all done in the agreed time and Steve was great with communicating with me. Sam Goodwins did a great job on our NA.....diagnosed a gearbox issue, and then swapped out the gearbox for a good replacement one....at the same time updated a few parts and checked out the seals etc....all at a very reasonable price. When they road tested it they noticed it seemed down on power which we had not noticed as had never driven another - they sorted the power loss and it pulls really well now!!!.....awesome service - highly recommended!
