Socks were well and truely knocked off with this masterful, brilliantly thought through, and perfectly executed double escape room. Having been fortunate to have done many escape rooms before, once you catch the thread of logic, you can quickly unravel the game, right? Not at House of Escapes. This is an escape room that requires diversity in thinking, tenacity, and the self-recognition that you need all the team in order to escape! There were moments of laugher, frustration, excitement, and bewilderment (in both games) as you fiend on the clues when you get a good idea, coupled with eye rolling when you just can't get it, then followed by utter delight when a team member does. Hannah and David are exceptional, passionate hosts, bringing a unique approach to the genre that clearly comes from many hours of their own sleuthing and unique ability to think outside the box (or should that be room?). Genuinely, it's like getting to do an escape room again for the very first time. I look forward to being blown away when the next room is launched and gutted I can't attend the "behind the scenes" evening- hopefully there will be another. Thank you for a fabulous and intellectually challenging evening, I shall sleep well tonight.

Booked on 23rd December for the Elf experience the next day. There were 5 adults, 1 6 year old and a 3 year old in our group. The experience was recommended for children aged 5-10, although the owners were perfectly accommodating of our 3 year old who, although couldn't fully participate, was interested- especially by the immersive parts at the beginning and end of the experience. Overall it was a really really good time, we all agreed well worth the money and enjoyed by all. There were optional extras for sale, drinks we could have during the experience and a photo at the end for a small charge. My 6 year old wants to come back, so please do more child friendly experiences!

Hannah and David's imagination and attention to detail is second to none. Everything is put together in a well thought out way and to such a high standard and they went above and beyond to cater for our dairy free, vegan and regular food and drink requirements. They also catered for different needs within the group, without us even needing to ask. Hannah and David were professional, fun and clearly love what they do. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the PuzzElf Christmas challenge! It was such a fun experience and the kids (8 and 10) were challenged and engaged the whole time. A perfect first family escape room experience and well be back for more!
