The Stables Cafe

Have been before and did enjoy the food but also had two wasted journeys as the Google opening times are different from actual opening. Lady did explain that she did not know how to change hours which is fair enough but then I came in again on a Friday at 1pm, opening hours clearly states open up until 2:30pm and I was abruptly told as soon as I tried to walk in that the cafe was closed. I saw another couple eating breakfast but I was just told she did not have any food prepared or ready so she would not be cooking, no apology, just some odd explanation. Wont be going again.

Just found this gem and have had a lovely breakfast, also asked about a high tea for Mothers Day, they went out of there way to fit my order in. We wanted to say thank you, everything was lovely, staff very friendly and welcoming, lovely place
