Bought my f pace jag from ideal cars Nottingham very smooth transaction from start to finish very friendly staff and very helpful after 3 months of ownership the car had a small fault and as I live over 100 miles from the dealers they told me to get it sorted locally which I did and they paid for the work straight away can't fault the garage keep it up and thanks mike North East england first class service

I bought a car from them December 2022. I've made some errors in my time but using this garage is one of the worst. The car was a Mercedes C class and within 24 hour the car had several faults including the boot not opening, battery light, juddering front brakes and water in the headlight. I proceeded to take it to a Mercedes specialist near me who diagnosed those faults and several others. I spoke to the garage which is a task in itself with its short ring time and everyone never available. I over the last month have been promised so many call backs that haven't been delivered. We agreed some repairs would be done (they refused some of them) I swallowed my inner instinct to give the car back and agreed to fix some myself. One of the issues was the battery which gave up over Christmas. I had pay over 300 to get it fixed and still on 10th await the funds back. I doubt will ever see them. Have sent receipt and invoice and was told would be sorted. I still have all the other issues as they continue to refuse to agree to the work at the garage as they quote a little more labour then Ideal Car believe is necessary! Final straw was today when my lights have stopped working and can no longer use the car! fantastic for someone who uses it for work. This was a fault that was meant to be fixed before Christmas and I am sure I wouldn't have this issue if the initial light issue was repaired as agreed. I am trying to return the car and even that is proving difficult, I have no interest in dealing with this company and advise anyone to not. The communication is awful with people telling you they will call back and never do, you will leave countless messages and ultimately the car I have bought is not fit for purpose. I have sent google my invoices, email communication and call log to ensure this review is upheld and not deleted as I fear the review standard of this dealership is not a fair reflection conveniently of the service I have received. I am out of pocket deeply and invested nearly 1000 in the car with still no refund or arrangement to fix the remaining issues. Worth mentioning like other reviews I am still yet to receive my log book too...
