Rang for a taxi, told it would be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I rang back, "sorry, sorry, he got held up, he'll be there any minute" 20 minutes after that and they stop answering the phone.

Ten minutes later, I called back, still waiting. I was told to keep waiting and "see what happened" in terms of getting to the station on time. The train was at 6.44am. I live five minutes by car from the station. At 6.40am, a taxi from another firm arrived at a house across the road. I walked over and was told he was picking up from a different house number - being a different taxi firm, going to a different house, I assumed it wasn't for me. A minute later, the driver called me over - the booking had been passed to another company, and then passed again to his company. He had been told the wrong house number.
By this time, I was clearly going to miss the train and told him not to bother (not his fault of course). My 20+ minutes of standing out in the freezing cold had been for nothing; the next train was an hour later and I had pre-booked tickets.
This company clearly don't care about the responsibility they have in getting people to places when it is time-critical. I will never trust them again.
