They installed an Air Source Heat Pump in our home about a year ago and we couldn't be happier with it. The installers were amazing - they took their time explaining the system to us and made sure everything was done thoroughly. We were impressed with how warm and cosy our home was during even the coldest days of winter. We also had our house electrics upgraded and our electrician was very impressed with the tidy and professional job FDG had done. Overall, we highly recommend FDG Group for anyone in need of heating and cooling services.

I've been a customer of FDG Group for many years now and I have always been impressed with their commitment to customer satisfaction. Recently, I had them come out to service my heat pump and, as always, they did an excellent job. The technician was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all of my questions which is always nice and puts you to ease. I highly recommend FDG Group to anyone in need of heating and cooling services and a special mention to Steve for running such a smooth operation

In late January FDG fitted an 8.5KW system consisting of 4 solar panels on the outhouse connected to a mini inverter and 16 solar panels on the roof of our house connected to another inverter. So far (as of the start of April) the system has made 450 to 500kWh (estimated) of electricity and has cut our energy bills in half. With each passing day the system is generating more electricity as the days get longer. The work was completed to a high standard and the inverters are operating well within their specs, are silent and only get slightly warm to the touch. Some of the panels are shaded at different times during the day which is effectively dealt with by solar optimisers installed below each panel. We recommend FDG for any of your solar PV and may even have FDG install a battery soon. Update: We decided to have an 8.2KWH battery added and have not used electricity from the grid since! The FOX ESS system clearly shows what the inverters, battery and panels are doing and we have used this info to run the heaviest loads at times when either the battery is charged or there is plenty of solar energy coming in. This system will pay for its self quickly. Highly recommend FDG Group.

Finally got the job done and can look in the mirror and be happy giving a 5* review. It wasnt always going to be a 5* as communication with FDG didnt always end happily for us (work on this please) and requests for payment came far quicker than returned phone calls. Also communication between teams wasnt always fit for purpose I.e, scaffolder not having a clear idea where scaffolding needed and roofers arriving and unable to complete the job. Also initially software was not UK ready and Dongle wasnt fit for purpose. The challenges FDG group overcame need to be noted, a big Victorian house with steep sloping pitches, covered in moss, bad weather and a new system from Australia. It has taken longer than anticipated but we now have a functioning system with a solar iBoost and a buddy. Water heated entirely from electricity and am currently fiddling with I Boost timings to ensure enough hot water when needed. Have all the documents now and getting set up to sell excess back to the grid. All the teams seemed to know what they were doing. Special mention to Stephen, Chris and Lester. Good job, just work on communication skills between teams and with the customer.
