Extortionate rent promise of support but never get any I've been here a year and only had help twice staff make me feel like I'm a nuisance when I ask for help everybody's care alarm has been serviced by mine so what do I do when I need emergency help they came and I asked them to come back in half an hour they never did offers of support for benefits came out with any excuse not to go with me I feel such a nuisance and alone

i lived in abbey lodge for over 4 years when i was forced to retire from my job(health and safety officer)this place really is shocking all the reviews posted are absolutely true.the local councillors were asked to help but was a waste of time nothing changed.repairs were taking months to get sorted,the passage ways floors were dangerous,hand rails were removed from the passages walls and were not put back,lots of noise at all times and antisocial behaviour never got addressed by staff you had to call the police direct.these are just a few of a very long list of problems that occur regularly every day.my advice to anyone thinking of living here is look elsewhere.i am forced to give 1 star to be able to post this review they dont deserve any

Badly managed. Basic repairs left unattended for months. Difficult to contact staff. Residents charged for WiFi usage even if they are not able to access the signal. On their website they claim its for over 55s only. That's a lie.

Be prepared to have an utter nightmare when signing up with this housing provider. basic urgent repairs that affect health and safety are ignored and take months even years to sort out, anti social behaviour is not addressed at all. Extortionate rent prices for the poor quality provided. I have live in this building for over 7 years and the last 4 and a half have been a nightmare and damaged my life significantly. If you value your health and sanity, DO NOT sign with this place.
