Dinner The Factory Kitchen A lovely family run independent restaurant serving great food. By day they offer coffees, cakes, brunch and various snacks. They now do an early evening set menu 25 for 3 courses which is great value. As well as the main menu if you fancy something else. Ans as usual we couldn't decide so chose from both menu's. Set menu Smoked Salmon & Prawn Fishcake Confit Packington Pork Belly Baked Rice Pudding. From the main menu Smoked Haddock Scotch Egg Cornish Hake Loin It was all cooked to perfection and the staff are all nice and friendly. Review helpful likefollow thanks.

Update as of 30/06/22 - I've heard the sad news today that this place has unfortunately had to close for good. Such a shame as an amazing restaurant, serving quality food. This is the first time I've been, and it won't be the last! How have I lived in Ilkeston for so long, and never tried this place! Dropped in for breakfast and absolutely loved it! Whilst not the cheapest of breakfasts, the quality of produce more than make up for it. The setting has been tastefully done, and the staff are friendly and attentative. I love the fact that they also have a small art gallery too, showcasing local talent. Two small suggestions to the owners. 1) Offer greater flexibility on orders. We wanted to order some halloumi with breakfast in addition to our order (something which can be ordered with another breakfast), but was told we couldn't. 2) Offer more than one size of hot drink. Small points however, as overall, an excellent first visit.

I love this place. Vegan options and the most incredible potatoes on your breakfast place. The evening meal I had was stunning.
