Tamasha Restaurant Mapperley

I've been to Tamasha a few times and enjoyed the food, but the service is patchy. There's an older lady who works there who may be the owner or manager who I find very rude, but the other staff are generally better, if ineffective. Food is good but wildly overpriced. I considered going back the other day but the 3 tapas for 23 (which was already pretty expensive for tapas) is now 30 - and most of the main courses now exceed 20. It's good, but it's not that good. The atmosphere is a bit flat as well. A lot of money has been pumped into the place and there are some nice touches, but overall it feels a little bit like it was designed by someone who won a TK Maxx trolley dash. I was excited to see something new to Mapperley, and I did give it a fair chance, but I can't see I'd go back.

Excellent and Great Value for money! 3 friends went for a long time catch up (we ended up staying in there for over 4 hours until they were cleaning g up and closing oops). The food was delicious. I had the Seabass with Mash, Asparagus, Tenderstem Broccoli and that lovely sauce. One had the lamb chops with kasmine rice and another the sticky chilli chicken tikka kebabs with bombah potatoes, chips and we had Naan to share. This place is not overrated in any way and they are planning to open another one in West Bridgford :-D. Highly Recommend. Thanks for having us and for not chucking us off the table. P.S- The staff were lovely and Amelia (I think that was her name) that was tending to us was so sweet.

Had a fantastic birthday night the food was amazing. And scarlet was very good taking time to explain the menu to us when we asked for her help. We will definitely be going back thank you to all the staff
