Been to this establishment around 6 times now and never had a bad night, on two of those occasions they had a live entertainment on , and the artists was of a very good standard, so the agent who supplies the acts is very good at his job. If going for the live acts I suggest you find out information on dates before you go as they are not on every week. The choice of drinks are excellent, and I have a top tip from someone who frequents this place on a regular basis , that the Guinness is top notch , and very much to the specifications of the Irish equivalent. There is a car park at the back , and buses to Ripley from Heanor pass the pub , either way , virtually outside the door . Very friendly bar staff look after you , and the atmosphere is Happy and welcoming, would definitely recommend a visit .

Went to a party in the function room, lovely and clean, liked the way the courtyard linked to the main pub. Reasonable prices too.
