After being told there was a waiting list for the guy who helped me last time I decided to wait on the waiting list only to be told he was unavailable permanently , why put people on a waiting list for someone who apperently has either left or is I'll ????

Okay so the support in the beginning was okay... Not great but okay. I would get a call every so often for about a month but then there's no contact what so ever once you're on the waiting list which is appalling as they expect clients to call them all the time which some people including myself wouldn't always feel comfortable doing. I don't expect a Samaritan style call but just a quick check up would be sufficient as I don't think no contact is the answer for people that already feel alone and/or worthless. Now the main reason for the two stars is because I had to wait 26 weeks for a face to face CBT appointment because I felt that counseling wouldn't be the answer as I had issues in my childhood but nothing too dark so I just wanted to be able to better control my emotions that I have because of these. The appointment would have been due a month or two ago - during this lockdown. And I received an email to say that I have been taken off of the list as face to face appointments aren't possible but I would be contacted when they are able to put me back on. So now I feel as though they're just trying to lighten the work load and see who would contact them after the lockdown as I don't see any other reason to remove me and then call to put me back on the list so I'm not expecting a call back... Just leave me there in the first place and update me sooner, not 2 months into the lockdown to tell me what's happening with my appointment with no alternative number/organisation for me to contact in the meantime or anything. I feel as though I'm going right back to square one because they're employing people that just do their job but don't actually love their job. You really should have the right people in places like this when in some cases you could be the last person a client talks to. I've never felt so pushed out and not worthy of help

Positively life changing experience! David is an absolute credit to the organization and I cannot thank him enough for all the help he has given me over the weeks. After 10+ years of fighting my demons he has worked with me to be able to manage life more easily. The support staff are also brilliant! I can't say thank you enough.
