I met with Stoneyard / Wollaton and Allen (who manage the Hicking building) at the Hicking Building AGM for the first time. I was shocked that yourselves as the management agent were unable to answer basic questions about the building, unaware of the amount of funds in the service charge account and have allowed maintenance issues to drag on for months. You were seemingly disinterested in resolving any of the concerns put forward by residents and owners in the building. Youve since gone into liquidation and all the service charge funds, supposedly protected, have disappeared..

I rather resent having to select at leat one star... ZERO STARS! Water pouring through the roof of my beautiful mezzanine apartment in a converted 1.7M Print works in Nottingham. Both my agent and I reported an issue with the roof 2 years ago with nothing done. A year ago this got so bad that cold winter air and rain were coming into the apartment. Still nothing! We have requested access to the roof ourselves to access the situation - Refused. Chased for several months, eventually told a surveyor was going to survey so asked if we could be present for this - Refused. Asked if they could take some video footage so we could see for ourselves - Refused. Asked for a copy of the report - Refused. No updates, no calls returned in 3 months. Wrote a letter of complaint giving them 7 days notice to respond, copied to 6 people including 2 directors inc Brent Weightman... wait for it... NO RESPONSE. Resent letter by post - NO RESPONSE. There is water pouring into the apartment overtime it rains and we can't even get the insurance to repair it as they STILL HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO REPAIR THE ROOF! Apparently they "can't find a roofer"... in 12 months?! I am willing to bet they could find someone if it was their own home. Disorganised, unhelpful & incompetent organisation that has no interest in the interests of its clients, just their own. Having selected the tab that filters management I can see I am far from the only one experiencing such ridiculously terrible service. Legal action is only reming option which is a shame but we have given them every chance and more to do the right thing. What an absolute Joke of a company.
