I have used zebralets for three years now and havent had one issue during this time. They have always proven to be extremely professional and helpful. Whenever there has been an issue no matter how small they have acted immediately, I couldnt ask for a better service. The staff have always been helpful especially Waq who often simply calls to check up on us, and ask if he could help in any way.

As a prospective tenant, I found the fast customer service to have been really ideal, however, I disliked how they enabled the landlord to add requirements for who our guarantor should be after we paid the deposit. They used the fact that the draft agreement stated the landlord was at their disposal to decide who could be used as guarantor as an excuse, upon contacting my student union they stated tenancy laws required all requirements to be stated before any signatures are made. They offered us the ability to pull out within 48 hours after this information was made available to them, however, I doubt this offer was made in good faith but more so to cover their backs if one of us decided not to pay any future fees/costs. Such information should be made prior to requesting deposits from prospective tenants

Zebra lets were a great letting agency until they weren't. And then they were just appalling. I had a good relationship with the agency until last summer (2019) when for all impressions they seemed to 'give up' on delivering a quality manging agency service. I made assiduous efforts to work with the agency when it became apparent that the tenants they had found for my property began subletting, running two businesses from the property, leaving trash all over the block and estate and often being late on rent. I gathered evidence, I made phone calls, I wrote emails. Every attempt at communicating evidence to the Zebra staff assured me of the best of tenants behaviours and Zebras attentions to my tenant. I accepted their word, the benefit of the doubt was given, and to my horror this only exacerbated the scenario. I now have evidence that by the end of 2019 there were now 4 men living in the flat running a full fleeted taxi service was running out of the block. The evidence from 3rd parties was overwhelming. I supplied this all to Zebra, still hoping for the old quality of relationship to be there. Helen, Gareth, Waq are all great to work with but it seemed the offices replies became more brusque, monosyllabic and dismissive. Finally, I had a conversation with 'Mary', the Manager of the office who all but rejected my viewpoint with a demeaning tone. When this was reported to the Director Mr Turner, within 5 minutes he decided unilaterally that this was me offering termination of our contract and 'dumped' me with the tenancy documents. All this taken in the context of what I have learned since taken over management of my property that the difficulties that my flat were experiencing were beyond the professional capability of Zebra Lets. This would have been fine if they had admitted this but their denial and subsequent avoidance of managing the problem when it became what was effectively a protracted eviction process amplified the issue to my expense. It just was not worth their time and could not wash their hands of the client (me) quick enough. It is my experience that the agency do not value the customers time, are not interested in taking on anything more complex than rent collection and routine annual checks and will run and cower if a challenging scenario happens under their duty of care rather than engaging with a solution based conversation. Simply put, I would avoid at all costs. PIC: Police involvement resulting from Zebra Lets negligence Response to Zebras comments by my new agency RBJ above.
