Great post office and friendly staff

The 3 stars are for the young man who served me, he looked petrified as he had to ask the miserable woman behind the counter a question, poor lad. I also asked her a question and got the usual rude and abrupt response that Ive had from her on a number of occasions, you just being there is a total inconvenience for her. Why does she work in customer service when clearly that is not her skill!

It's a shame as I used to go in regularly and it's important to use the local post office, but from now on will go out of my way to use others. Recently only used it when I have no other choice as the woman behind the counter is so rude and always grumpy, it's like you're an inconvenience and she seems constantly stressed. Both my husband and myself have found the same, whenever you ask anything you get snapped at, sighed at or made to feel like you should know the answer already. There's no harm in service with a smile!! A little bit of politeness goes a long way. No need for rudeness.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at Hayden Lane Post office, especially Tracey and Joe! I have posted a review on another site which I was told did not have any weight unless it was done on Google! So here goes Every time I visit Hayden Lane Post office I am always greeted with a smile and they ALWAYS go above and beyond for me. I understand that people have bad days, we all have. However I have seen them rearrange stock and move in heavy equipment working extra hours and on their days off to ensure the success of the day to day running of the business. I truly hope the owners of the business read this and are truly grateful to have such dedicated staff like Tracy and Joe! I hope they both know how valued they are for people like me and that their efforts are not going unnoticed Thank You
