What can I say....Marcus Holdsworth is the rudest person I have ever been unfortunate to share a pit with! He puts himself up as being 'greater than thou' and simply walks in front of you whilst you are getting a shot or simply stands in front of you. Arrogance or ignorance....you decide!

Marcus was fantastic! We had several meetings and phone conversations in the run up to the wedding which put my wife and I at ease during the planning stages and the big day itself. When it came to the wedding day, Marcus had planned several shots out and was comfortable giving direction to the groomsmen who hadn't had that before and the results show! The idea to got out and have photos around the city centre was excellent! It has given us not only the best pictures of the day, but also was some of our favourite memories of the day. Everyone who has seen the photos has commented about how relaxed they all look and how at ease the subjects are. (As well as the excellent quality!) I can't recommend Marcus enough, we are both so glad he photographed our wedding.

Aside from your intended, the photographer is probably the most important choice you have to make before your special day - your partner and the photos are the only 2 elements you actually take home with you! Whilst Marcus' style is described well by the testimonials on his website, it is interesting to note that others in the same business have since tried to plagiarise his approach. There is a reason for this. People only copy the best of things. It is worth remembering that more often than not, they do not succeed. We can say with absolute confidence that you will never question your decision to bring Marcus onboard as part of your wedding. Perfect photographs need a lot of preparation. Pre-scouting of the venues to ensure the best lighting angles, the best local features to be incorporated, white umbrellas in case of rain, everything is thought of. The standard family and group photographs are organised with the minimum of fuss before Marcus turns chameleon to get those great fly-on-the-wall unplanned shots. The upshot of all of this. No stress on the day, a photographer that everyone thinks is a family friend and the knowledge that the photographs will perfectly capture how you felt on the day every time you look at them. Our album is regularly looked at and, in addition to our families, many of our guests also ordered copies as they loved the photos so much. James & Annette

Wow! We recently got married in Italy and Marcus took our photos, we couldn't have wished for better. He was fantastic - he talked through the day with us in advance and made us think about what shots we wanted, planned some time into the day for photographs etc - just to make sure nothing was missed. He was tireless on the day, capturing shots of everyone. His style totally relaxed the guests and he captured the day perfectly. Thank you Marcus! Kim & Maurice McCann
