Erewash Drives Ltd ( Est. 2004)

We had our drive tarmac in July 2022 and by August a huge weed had appeared coming through the new tarmac we have been contacting Bill ever since on a regular bases until last week when he blocked me !! He's seen photo evidence and has assured us on several occasions that he will be round that week to fix it , he's saying he only needs a small amount of tarmac which is causing him a problem but if the job had of got done correctly in the first place this wouldn't be an issue ,he was more than happy to take the 2800 but less than happy to fulfill his side of the deal , we've found him very unprofessional and very hard to even get a response from although I'm sure this will provoke a reply quicker than usual , if it wasn't for this one problem we would of left a 5* review but unfortunately after 5 months of trying I think its time to give up hence the review now ,we did give you a chance Bill

I was due to have a quote for works this week. First day, they did not turn up. After 90 mins I called in, to be told it was in the diary for the next day. Giving benefit of the doubt, I rearranged. I'm now nearly 3 hours after the time they were for to come to quote, and nobody has been. I've not even had a call. I get that sometimes things overrun and plans need to change, but at least have the decency to call. I can see others have left similar reviews. Would much prefer honesty to this. On the plus side, they did come highly recommended for a good job, although I guess I'll never find out! Edit in response to business owner reply: my review was factual and not unkind. A phone call to explain and apologise would have gone much further than your response here. I'd have likely had rearranged again and removed my review, if you'd had a family emergency and called - even the next day. Sadly, I think this just shows the lack of professionalism, that you'd rather get on here and argue than call and apologise and try to rearrange. All the best for the future, and please do give your customers / potential customers the benefit of the doubt and keep in touch with them!

I had a number of people around to quote us for a replacement driveway , we had Bill , David and the lads from Erewash drive complete our work , the reason for us going with them was as follows; They were very competitive in terms of pricing Bill was very informative in what they would be doing and why in terms of excavation / the materials used replacing our existing drive Bill also provided a full quotation form inclusive of work to be completed and what material they would need. There was no need for hire of equipment as they have all of there own kit such as diggers etc ! And most importantly they were honest , trustworthy polite people. I cannot speak highly enough about bill , Dave and the lads at Erewash drives, they were punctual , polite , clean tidy and very efficient. They arrived when they said they would , worked very hard and kept me up to date with there plans and progress for each days work. I am getting my patio done by them next due to how impressed I was with them. Top quality local tradesmen who take pride in there work! Service: Driveway replacement

Never turned up after calling several times, didn't have the decently to call me after I stayed in waiting for over 3 hours. Lost out on a big job you guys
