Terrible! Had my eyes tested chose my frames and sat down with a young girl to build the glasses. Wanted transitional lenses and the glass in one lense slimmed down. I was told the cost and paid. However I later received a phone call informing me the price quoted was wrong. They said I had been uncharged by 100! Instead of honouring what I had paid they tried to negotiate, offering me a small discount on the frames. I said no thanks, later they rang back and tried the original price with different lenses whatever that meant! I demanded a refund as one had yet to be offered. When returning to the shop with my card I was then offered the glasses at the original price quoted, needless to say I refused and demanded, yet again, a refund. Poor customer relations and downright greed,

I have been coming here for years & always have amazing care. I have my eyes tested at least yearly due to illness. The optician always make you feel comfortable, talks through changes & is very very good. They check the health of the back of the eyes as standard too. The reception staff have brilliant customer service & are so approachable & friendly! I like that they don't pressure you in to expensive frames & added additions. Thanks visioncare direct ....5 stars from us!

Bought wife new glasses wedensday 16 Sept,collected and ajust.Glasses case said Specsavers. Back Thur,17th for further ajust,told technician only on site on a Friday. Friday back for further ajustment still not right,Back Saterday told he would ring optition for further advice an get back to us.STILL waiting for call.Why only one technician on site one day a week.Thought I was dealing with Visioncare,Monies taken from bank under John Optician. Who am I dealing with Visioncare Specsavers or John Optician
