The Carlton Care Home

My wife's father has been in this care home for two and half years now. We are so grateful for the care he is receiving. He was there with his wife for the first six months, until she passed away; she was very ill at the time and the care home was great with her. Since then he has stayed on and it has really become his home. He enjoys socialising with other residents, despite being unable to walk unaided now. At present there are actually more men in the home than women, so he enjoys a lot of man-talk with some of the other guys. What really impressed us with this place at first was that it does not smell; they keep the place really clean. The staff are friendly and seem to have time to chat to residents and to enjoy doing so. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to friends and family.
