Ive been using Urban Retreat for manicures and pedicures because I live in Ruddington so it was convenient to walk to. Also, I have kids so preferred somewhere local. Ive always had my nails done by the two girls in there. The gels nails are OK, a bit sloppy but I have never complained because they make my nails look better that what I could achieve at home! However, what is my bug bear about this salon is lack of time management. I have been there 3 times with a pre booked appointment and the salon has always over booked and Ive been bumped / left waiting. Today I booked for a 1.30pm appointment, was told that was fine. The salon was busy, and after waiting for 25mins I left. Really inconvenient. Its fine if I was told to expect a wait but I was told that I could get my treatment on time. Its such a shame because now Ill just go a bit further afield; West Bridgford like I used to where I know they are more reliable, professional and do a better treatment. If you are a regular customer Im sure youre well looked after. Single, professional mum needing a bit of self care in a timely manner? Dont waste your time here! Such a shame, this business is letting Ruddington and its customers down. Services: Pedicure, Manicure
