I arranged an installation with a TV Aerial Company from Hucknall for a Morning fitting and I booked the Morning off work and waited in.. They rang me at 11.30am to say they would be there in 1hr ( which was absolutely pointless as I had to go to work in the afternoon ) Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I arranged another appointment a couple of days later for after 3.30pm They rang me at 10.15am to tell me they was Just around the corner and would be there in 5 mins . ( which was absolutely pointless because I was still at work ) At 4.30pm I rang to see what time they was coming and they said their engineer had been held up and wouldnt be coming . ( WOW ) Reluctantly, I then agreed to ANOTHER appointment for a Saturday as I couldnt risk booking more time off work in case they didnt show up again but I told them if I could find someone more reliable who could do it earlier I would ring and cancel They then spent 48hrs randomly calling me to say they was around the corner and could come and do it now ( like people just sit at home all day and do nothing ).. Plus I couldnt guarantee they would even turn up anyway Exasperated I turned to Google and found this chap I asked what was the earliest he could come and he said hed be there in the morning at 08.30am He turned up reliably and 10 mins early ( my kind of guy ) Lovely chap, polite, reliable and trustworthy what is there not to like I wouldnt know how much it costs to supply and fit an aerial but my guess is he was cheaper than the unreliable Company based in Hucknall.. Give this chap a ring, lovely bloke ( I rang the other company and cancelled my appointment giving them 3 days notice of cancellation )
