West Bridgford branch - Amy was perfect. After repetitive nagging from Boots and VE for an eye test I opted for a local independent, explaining i needed 1) glasses adjusted 2) another pair with replacement lenses and ) 3) sunglasses lenses in a third pair of frames. And NOT an eye test. Amy got on with 1 and 2 while i waited and 3 within 2 weeks, as they had to be sent off to HQ. Friendly, sincere, professional - will return.

Great personal service from Johns Opticians. Both my mum and I had our eyes tested there recently which was very thorough. Even had photos taken of the inside of our eyes so that the Optician could show us how healthy our eyes are. Really interesting having that explained to us and what we need to be aware of such as signs of blood pressure. Both mum and I bought varifocal glasses which are a much higher quality than your mass produced cheaper Opticians. Ive had the cheaper varifocals before and ended up never wearing them due to the narrow channel of vision and distortion at the edge of the lenses. Johns Opticians are a bit more expensive but what you get is much better quality. The channel of vision is so wide that there is barely any distortion at the edge of the lens. You can even reuse an old pair of frames if you want to keep the cost down. Both mum and I are really happy with our new specs and would highly recommend Johns Opticians..

I have been to this optician for a few years now, and I would describe their customer service as refreshingly personal which is so unusual these days. Outstanding, and highly recommended! Thank you, guys.

Fantastic service, the glasses I got have been brilliant and lasted well. Been to the big chains before and felt like a number where as here it was 1on1 personal service and actually felt like they listened and cared. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
