An old-fashioned hardware store with wonderfully old-fashioned service. They stock all the bits and pieces you might need from bird seed and glue to mops, light-bulbs, nails, sandpaper etc; offer a key-cutting service; and can usually come up with a solution to those odd-ball questions I have like What sort of glue can I use to make a nest out of straw for an Easter bonnet or how can I fasten this bird feeder to a tree with something easier to undo than string? A gem of a shop, and Helen and Simon are very knowledgable.

A treasure of a shop in Ruddington. If they don't sell it, they can often get it. They are so knowledgable about DIY stuff too and give you tips on how to go about things which is really useful to me who often does not have a clue! Always a smile of a welcome from super-helpful duo who own the place. Precious place and my favourite in the village.
