Really depends who you get. 1st time using the service I had Penny Brand who was brilliant, she made me feel really comfortable and helped me deal with some things. Second time around it was hard enough accepting that I still needed help, but I was met with the cold and judgemental Sarah A. She questioned why I would need to come back which made me feel really awkward then asked where [Id got] that word from when describing feelings of depersonalisation and accused me of self diagnosing on the internetthought the whole point was that we come into this explaining how we feel but Nooooo apparently Sarah can tell through the phone that Im making it all up? Just didnt feel believed, felt extremely judged and ended up putting the phone down and crying. I did report this so no I dont want to talk to anyone in further detail about this - If you care about how your clients are treated, youll look into the way your assessments are carried out without making me recount this traumatic experience.

Ive literally been needing help for the past sessions and today when i went. i came early. as a matter of fact i arrived at 2:55 and since its my first time here, i found the place and got in at the reception at 3:06 when the sessions at 3 and i had to wait well over 30 mins at the place only for the person to come down and tell ME that im late? this is the third session and every session has been neglecting the reason why i need help. i keep wanting to talk but she keeps redirecting and shes not listening at all. i need someone to listen then ill take any advice not just shove advice after advice in my face. the worst part is i really needed this therapy session because ive waited 2 weeks for it only for her to say that im late and to ask me to come earlier and to tell me to go to the next session which is in another 2 weeks. the worst part is i dont even have her number to tell her i was there i just had to wait at reception for so long. As someone whos anxious and has a hard time talking back (if ure wondering) i couldnt even muster up the words to say that i arrived early. im at therapy to ask for help and ure expecting me to have this and that.
