I took my Honda mower to this company for an estimate to repair or renew a faulty clutch l was given a vague description of what might be wrong with it and was asked for a 40 fee for investigation work and was told l would also benefit from having the blade sharpened, a new drive belt fitted and a new spark plug, l was told l would receive an estimate in three days but after six days l still had no reply. I rang the company and was told someone would contact me the same day to let me know what was happening, unfortunately l didnt receive the call So l called again the next day and got no answer so l left a message to reply to my call which I didnt get, So today Monday 21st March l rang again to be told that my mower needed a new gearbox and clutch which would cost about 300 plus fitting , when l originally took the mower in l was told it would be about 150 plus fitting, so l went to the workshop to fetch my mower back and was told they couldnt get the parts and l might as well scrap it and buy a new one. Upon leaving l rang a very reputable company Henton and chattel to see if they stocked the spares l needed which they did so l went and picked up a new gearbox with clutch, a new cutting blade and servicing items which totalled 197.00. A friend who is a retired mechanical engineer fitted the parts for me this afternoon and the scrap mower is now good for the foreseeable future. The moral of this saga is, be very careful who you take your mower to for repair
