We have instructed Landsmiths twice in the last 6 months, firstly for an apartment in West Bridgford and secondly for a house in Normanton on the Wolds, on both occasions we have received great service, the whole team were excellent communicators, and always call you back (a rarity these days). All of the stresses of attempting to buy my first home doubled with my ill-informed first selection of solicitor. After my first purchase fell through almost six months in, somewhat due to the dismal communication from all parties, I decided to start from scratch and found Landsmiths. Alicia and Emily worked diligently to ensure that my second attempt at a purchase completed. The process wasn't without it hiccups (as I'm sure not many are), but Emily's thorough guidance and regular communication really helped to alleviate the anxiety I had. From initial contact, to the moment the keys were in my hand, I had absolutely no doubt that the team were dedicated to ensuring that I finally had my long-awaited new home. As an anxious first time buyer, I cannot recommend them enough.

I have lots of friends who have experienced bad solicitors when buying their first homes. So, I was very vigilant of this when choosing mine. I had done quite a few quotes, but what stood out with Landsmiths was the initial conversation and quote done with the honesty on quantity/prices of searches and no hidden costs, plus these genuine google reviews. I'm glad I was swayed by Landsmiths, because the experience from beginning to end has been exceptional both with their modern processes, but most importantly with Emily and Alicia guiding me through my journey. Here's the things that stood out to me: 1. Modern electronic ID checks done by uploading proof of identity and phone to verify yourself. 2. My documents nicely organised and downloadable via a cloud link along with important documents sent to me directly on email. 3. Received detailed reports throughout the process from Title/Property Info, Main searches etc with a lot of attention to detail yet highlighting important things that I should take note off. 4. Continuous communication throughout with preference of choice. I had not once had to chase my solicitors because they kept me up to date throughout and answered my queries promptly via email or a phone call away. 5. Clear explanations on any queries I had throughout the process from Emily and Alicia and being patient with me through the journey. 6. Any queries I had to the sellers or things that needed raising due to differences between the information we had vs reality were quickly sent over and resolved. I hope my long review does justice to the quality that they provide. Also thank you so much Emily and Alicia for literally being my heroes, you've both been brilliant and supportive throughout, if you also did mortgage applications, I'll be coming to you! Ive already recommended Landsmiths Solicitors to my friends/family, and I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to use them.
