A massive thank you to Nick & his team, for pulling something amazing out of the bag!!!!! Moved into a new house & needed a driveway built, along with kerb dropping. Nick was the consummate professional throughout, handling all my questions & queries. Not only did he solve all the headaches, he walked me through the process & dealt with all the necessary red tape. On the coldest week of the year, Nick & his team we're there as planned at 8am on the Monday morning as agreed. I'm sure many teams would have said it was too cold for work. I can't thank Nick & his team enough, for what they did, in the timeframe they had & the conditions they worked in. So glad that I had the opportunity to work with Nick & his team. It's not just the finished article you get; but also the experience, knowhow, vision & expertise. Can't give Wakefield Driveways a high enough recommendation, it's definitely 5 star plus!!!! 4 months of constant chasing and broken promises to complete my garden, which was originally quoted as a one week job, my husband was physically assaulted and beaten unconscious when he asked for the work to be completed. Work was never finished and we were left significantly out of pocket, with sub-standard work and mentally scared. I've shown a photo of my beautiful water feature!!! I would not recommend. This company are not worthy of one star but the post doesn't allow none. Additional issues identified more recently like ivy growing through the artifical grass and the patio tiles being loose and moving demonstrate the poor workmanship undertaken. *********************** Update for clarity following response from Wakefield Driveways I have added some additional photos of both poor workmanship & injuries sustained including a screenshot of a message from Nick Wakefield after his visit to snag the works one month after the original completion day, this is his list and these works were still outstanding 12 weeks after he sent the message & at the time of the brutal assault. There were no customer changes just merely getting the job finished I'm not sure whether I was lucky or not to witness the brutal attack as the incident is so vivid in my memory however I am so grateful that I was home & indeed my son to stop the frenzied attack otherwise the injuries could have so much worse if not life threatening. The CT scan was very scary realising how close my husband was to life changing injuries. Over the 4 months that these works were not completed and indeed were never completed I have 2 regrets. Firstly, believing every excuse going for not turning up and not completing the jobs, I feel such a fool for showing so much empathy and trusting Nick to his word. Secondly, paying up front, again how foolish of me to pay for work before it was completed. I have nothing to gain from posting this feedback other than to prevent anyone else suffering a similar nightmare or indeed sustaining a violent attack in their own home Services: Landscape design construction, Artificial turf installation
