Sarah listened carefully to our ideas and vision. In particular our desire for a bright, warm, inviting, multi-functional space. She immediately made suggestions that had not occurred to us. This included simple things like changing the orientation of the door. She asked us to look at Pinterest so that she had a better idea of the styles we favoured. Sarah's design came with a number of furniture and product recommendations which have proved to be well thought out and fit the space perfectly. We love spending time in the room now and have had many compliments from friends. Sarah project managed and organised all the tradespeople. We were really glad we went for this option. Even this relatively small project involved 6 different tradespeople and it would have been very challenging for us to coordinate a schedule for them all. Sarah put together an expert team who all worked well together and to a very high standard. They were all very pleasant to have in the house and they always left everything as tidy as possible. Our friends are amazed by the transformation. They particularly mention the panelling which we would never have thought of using. We have had comments about how well the furniture fits in the room, size and style. The finish is superb and although the cost was more than we initially anticipated we are very glad we went through with all the changes as we now spend far more time in this room than we have ever done before. We just love our new kitchen. Firstly it's more beautiful than we could have imagined and it's much lighter, flows better and the storage we now have meets our needs as a family in a practical sense. There are so many details we love within the space that we could go on forever. We first approached Sarah after being stuck with what to do about our long, cold and dark kitchen. We'd painted it a lighter colour the previous year but it felt bland and uninviting. We have anothing living area so we only ever used the kitchen to cook in, but as we now have two toddlers this became impractical for us. We wanted a space that we could cook, dine, live and entertain in and Sarah delivered on this. One of the many features that we Iove are the log tile panels in the living area. The room was so long we had no idea how to break up the back wall and the wood panels do this brilliantly, they're such a beautiful warm feature. Also the curtains, lighting and brass details finish the room so effectively making it feel modern but timeless. We wanted to reuse any elements of the previous kitchen that we could; we reused some of the cupboard door fronts and reupholstered the sofas. As we added quite a few units to the kitchen, Sarah managed to source solid ash doors that were a good match to the ones we already have. We really liked the look of marble countertops against the deep teal colour. Sarah worked really hard to ensure that we could have a countertop that didn't have a noticeable join, that was in budget and that was good quality. We couldn't be more pleased with our quartz countertops, they are a real showpiece in the kitchen. Above all Sarah took the time to understand our likes and dislikes and came up with ideas we would never have dreamed of. I think this is the benefit to using an interior designer, something that we had never done before. We were able to view the design as it would look in our space through Sarah's digital design render which was brilliant and very accurate! Something that separates Sarah from the rest is that she also paints and decorates. Sarah is meticulous when decorating, and through her doing this as well as the design you can ensure that the finish embodies the vision. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spruce Interiors.

Sarah from Spruce Interiors helped us spruce up our kitchen and utility room and we are absolutely delighted with the results! Throughout the whole process she was extremely professional, responsive and completely reliable. We were really impressed with the interior design service that Sarah offers. She provided us with a range of options with differing costs so that we could remain in control of the budget. Sarah did all the leg work for us when it came to researching colours, designs and materials- this really took the pressure and stress off us. She then presented her ideas to us with an impressive mood board and floor plan which meant we were able to visualise the end result. Sarah understood what we wanted from the outset and her creativity and ideas pushed us to be more adventurous and consider things we wouldnt have done otherwise. She also ensured that that all the work carried out was finished to a high quality. We are delighted with our spruced up kitchen which feels brand new! We would highly recommend her services- thank you Sarah!
